LPP announces its firm stance in supporting smoke-free areas through the "7 Days No Smoke: Dare to Quit" campaign for the 3rd year, in observance of World No Tobacco Day on May 31 each year. The aim is for this initiative to be more than just a 7-day smoking cessation; it seeks to inspire smokers to embark on a journey of change that may lead to permanent quitting.

Ms. Somsri Techakraisri, Managing Director of LPP Property Management Co., Ltd., stated, "As a comprehensive real estate project management company, we recognize our crucial role in creating livable, safe communities that support the well-being of everyone, in terms of the environment, society, and health of all individuals in the areas managed by LPP. Therefore, we have initiated the "7 Days No Smoke: Dare to Quit" campaign, which is being held continuously this year for the 3rd time, from May 31 to June 6, 2025. In over 250 projects managed by LPP, with more than 400,000 residents and over 3,000 employees in the LPP group, we are joining forces to promote a 7-day smoking cessation campaign, aiming to spark the desire to quit smoking and inspire through real actions in daily life. This marks the beginning of a transformation towards a better life for oneself, family, community, and society.

The "7 Days No Smoke: Dare to Quit" project invites smokers to start a short-term cessation of 7 days as a stepping stone towards permanent quitting. If 7 days can be achieved, then quitting smoking for good is possible. This project emphasizes LPP's commitment to supporting public health and seriously creating smoke-free spaces. LPP believes that while 7 days may seem short, it is a significant period as it provides smokers with an opportunity to "prove to themselves" and to take care of their health by allowing their lungs to rest from toxic smoke and breathe in clean air. This project also serves as a challenge for change that LPP aims to share with residents in the projects, employees in the organization, and the general public, inspiring them to take action and genuinely practice to promote a culture of health and safety in the long term.

LPP has actively campaigned within its managed projects and organization to raise awareness and encourage smoking cessation. This has been done concretely and continuously to create an environment conducive to good health and smoke-free living, including:

• Installing "Smoke-Free Zone" and "No Smoking" signs in shared or public areas to emphasize the intention of promoting good health and reducing exposure to secondhand smoke.

• Disseminating knowledge about the impacts of smoking on health and the environment through various communication media, such as posters and other digital media within the projects, to raise awareness among residents about the dangers of smoking to themselves and others.

• Collaborating with public health agencies, specifically the National Quitline (Quitline) 1600, for the past 3 years to help promote awareness through campaigns within managed projects, encouraging those who want to quit smoking or are hesitant to seek advice and assistance directly from the Quitline 1600 for guidance, support, and follow-up care from expert consultants, focusing on motivation and behavior change. Although quitting smoking is not easy, many people have successfully quit for good.

Ms. Somsri concluded, "LPP believes that starting from small steps, such as refraining from smoking for these 7 days, will create a livable and safe environment for everyone. This can lead to social change that may ultimately expand into a long-term transformation towards a smoke-free society."
